hello all,

We are currently zoned for Plano ISD specifically west Plano area. Looking to see if anyone knows what areas in Houston that are comparable in terms of the quality and diversity in different ethnicities ?

....

Plano ISD is IMO, Katy ISD 101. Right down to the I-10 divide on SES and diversity. Do a CD search on Katy, TX living and Katy ISD.

^Agreed with the above poster. Plano ISD, Frisco ISD, Allen ISD are very similar to Katy ISD. If budget permits, stay south of I-10.

Also check out Fort Bend, but watch out as some schools are excellent, but others not so much.

Great point, look at particular schools first, district second. There is no "perfect" school district in Houston.
