I'd go with Spring Branch because its just down the road from Memorial and I like living here! If we went private for schools someday I could see us moving there.

It was a tough choice between Spring Branch and Oak Forest/Garden Oaks, but I went with Spring Branch.

Spring branch traffic is terrible even compared to 610 and area feels much more transitional then the southwest side of the loop meyerland/westbury. One of the reasons I bought here. I like oak forest but only if you buy a new build (very expensive). The way homeowners renovated those little homes are atrocious. - toured a home where you had to go through a pantry to laundry room to bathroom to get to a master bedroom and of course the dreaded converted garages

I voted for the Galleria area. I wasn't sure if the OP meant Spring Branch ISD which includes the Memorial neighborhoods, or just Spring Branch north of I-10. I would have voted for Memorial if listed, but I feel that the Galleria area packs in quite a punch, especially if Tanglewood is included.

Meyerland/Westbury/Willowbend have never done much for me. I don't appreciate the proximity to Southwest Houston, plus you have to worry about flooding, which would easily bring down the future market value.

Oak Forest wins most categories but there has already been so much appreciation I don't know how much higher it will go.

I like the proximity to city center, memorial city, the stores along the I-10, proximity to the Galleria shopping/restaurants/work.

Not sure what amenities as convenient to Oak Forest or Meyerland, I'm sure there's a bunch but is it the same breadth and quality as the western corridor?

Galleria would be ok too but at a similar price point the neighborhoods there aren't quite the same as the others.

I figured not Memorial because it was outside of the beltway even though its very comparable in all other ways.
