We are looking for a water softener and RO and we were told the Fleck 7000 is a 30 yr old product and a piece of junk but i see many people had it installed. The water softener guy suggested GE but not sure if it is worth the extra $. Fleck is $1300 with RO and GE is $1800-2200 based on after he comes and looks at plumbing in the house. Also we have no pre plumbing and our water shut off is outside the house. Which one do you suggest or is it a better company i need to consider. Thanks
