What's wrong with Katy Mills?

I'm not all that impressed with the store lineup. However, any type of mall in Cypress is long overdue.

Katy Mills blows, IMHO, because the only true outlet stores inside are few and far between. There are many vacancies, and many mom-and-pop places that are usually the sign of decline in a mall setting. Now it's become a bit of a crime issue b/c it's not being taken care of properly, security sucks, and the landscaping around the entrances is getting a little overgrown, perfect place for a criminal to hide. I realize crime is everywhere, and I realize malls are not impervious, but Katy Mills needs to step up to the plate and get their crap in one sock or it's going to disappear. I have a feeling Simon (who bought the Mills Corp in 2007) doesn't care since they're putting up the new mall at I-10 and Grand Pkwy....we'll see. Time will tell!

Nothing. This new outlet mall is exactly like Katy Mills and has the same stores. The difference? One is outdoor, the other isn't.

Katy Mills is getting a new Circuit City, too. There is nothing wrong with Katy Mills and people should look at the store lineups of both places and see the similarities between the stores.
