I'm a single mom of four and I am moving to Houston this summe. My oldest brother moved there last summer 2015. Anyways I have searched but I don't know what area to start looking in due to not knowing what schools that my children will be going too. Basically to sum it up.My income is medium based and I'm single mom so I don't want a long commute. Also applying at some Hospitals so closer to the hospitals and schools. Any info will be greatly appreciated..

I'm not trying to buy. Just want to rent a townhome. My budget is from 750-950 a month.

Where will your workplace be? What part of town? If nothing else, please provide the zip code or the closest major cross streets.

Look it up on har.com for rentals. Houston is a huge area with lots of different school districts and hospitals.

There aren't any good schools zoned to low and middle income neighborhoods in HISD. A max rent of $950 in an apartment which will accommodate 5 people will land you in a less than stellar school district. A longer commute would be worth the trade off of a better school.

Good luck, you will need it.
