Thanks looks like a great pre-K with wonderful teachers. We'd prefer a private school that offers pre-K through 12 though. It might be harder to get into the better private schools later. Also we live inside the loop in Rice area.

The Post Oak School is Montessori based and is nonsectarian. The school now goes through high school. St. John's is nonsectarian but does have chapel requirements. St. John's is also the hardest admit in town.

Thank you! Exactly what we need! There aren't very many secular schools on the list though and the best ones like Kinkaid, Awty and Post Oak have already been mentioned here. I've also heard good things about School of the Woods. What do you think about it?

I have a friend whose child attends there, but her child is very unique. Her child might not fit in a traditional learning environment. It is Montessori all the way through high school. If you search for threads about School of the Woods in this firm there are lots of comments from people with first hand experience.

Thought I should mention this. We just got the acceptance letter from St Lukes. We are pretty excited and happy to have been accepted into our first choice.
