Hello everyone,

My lease on my apartment ends December 26th. I would like to be in a home again, or be in the process of moving at that time. I am a single man without any kids. I work near the medical center. At this time, I live in West Houston. My commute is bad, and that area was flooded by Harvey. I don't want to move back to Pearland. My budget range is 140K-200K. I am hoping to find a nice home since I will be there for a while.
I was thinking about Sugar land, Katy (longer drive), Cypress (longer drive as well)

Thanks for your help

Try sienna plantation. 20 min to the med center using ft bend toll plus there is a park and ride close by you can take as well.

Did you see his budget? Not to be rude, but I don't think there are any properties or many at all in his price range.

Yes, there are plenty of areas where you can still find a home in that price range. There are some little pockets in Sugarland and Katy with older homes that would be ideal. The problem is, this price range sells at break neck speed! So, when you find a home that meets your criteria, don't waste time. Get it under contract. There are ways to be set up on HAR to get automatic notifications when they hit the market.
