How much did these huge mansion on Kirby, etc. sell for back in the early 80s?

I don't know about the early 80's, but you could find some on Kirby that needed remodeling around $500k in the late 90's. That was the low-end at that time.

Before or after inflation? $500,000 in 1998 is about $748,394.30 now.

The value of most of my mansions have gone up by 300% on average since the 1980's.

That's nominal price, not adjusted for inflation.

Ok! IMO it's good to have both the nominal price and the one adjusted for inflation so we can see how much the worth of the house changed.

I can't remember exactly but I am pretty sure you could still get quite a bit of house in River Oaks for under 1 million right around 2000-2001.
