I found an inventory home by Trendmaker Homes in Harvest Green that I like. Does anyone here have any experience with Trendmaker Homes? How is the build quality? Also how is Harvest Green? The community looks nice, but I don't know too much about it. How is access to Sugar Land through Harlem Road and through 99? How are the schools? How is proximity to shopping, grocery, and restaurants for Harvest Green? How is the tax rate? Thanks in advance for your opinion about Trendmaker Homes and Harvest Green.

My personal opinion. Love Trendmaker Homes, don't love Harvest Green.

Could you please elaborate about what you don't like about Harvest Green? Thanks in advance.

Have to use a toll road to go anywhere- and Harvest Green is in the middle of nowhere. I guess it’s a good location if you are a homebody that doesn’t need to commute.

I have a friend who bought a Trendmaker home in Harvest Green. He is very happy with it.

Guess you spoke too soon. Harvest Green is probably the most diverse community in Houston and doesn’t tilt to one way or another when it comes to demographics. There’s definitely pros and cons to every community but a heavy influence of one culture in HG is definitely not one of them ala Aliana

I still don't like Harvest Green, but my opinion on the builder previously mentioned has definitely changed. That builder has turned into a horror show.

Why has your opinion changed on the builder?

Oh boy, ask around. I'd say ask one of their veteran salespeople, but most have quit. Builder was purchased by a company out of California a few years ago, took a few years, but they are managing to run it into the ground.
