Anybody here use UPC, Allstate or Liberty Mutual for home insurance?
What about Progressive for Flood insurance? Are there better providers in the area?

Flood insurance is essentially the same for everyone, assuming you get the FEMA backed version. We had to switch from Allstate 8 or 9 years ago when they quit insuring houses that weren't brick in the Greater Heights. We now use Amica, who were much less expensive, although rates have gone up.

I had UPC and just recently dropped them. I would send the payments thru my bank but they would say they didnt receive them and threaten to terminate my policy. Then I would get a refund check for the payment two weeks later. It's just weird. Happened several times and I got sick of it.
