I'm curious, wouldn't it be better to mix with the lefty scum before sending your kids off to their prestigious liberal re-education camps? Pre-gaming, if you will. Less culture shock.

The Woodlands isn't a city. Right now it is a township. There has never been a vote to become an incorporated city. We may have a vote in November of 2021, but that is unknown right now.

Quote:
Conroe is 51.7% minority, if more Hispanic people had citizenships then Conroe would be mostly Democrat. In the precinct-level election map, there was one precinct in Conroe that is 66% pro-Biden. The Woodlands doesn't have any precincts that voted majority for Biden however every precinct there became went at least +6 more Democrat. The Woodlands has a lot of rich foreigners living and working there, the percentage of Hispanics, Asians, white immigrants and even African Americans is increasing but again with the former three groups most of them are not US citizens. If high schoolers were able to vote I'm sure that would also affect the Republicans' performance in Montgomery County. Conroe ISD did a mock election and the majority of students voted for Biden, so who knows, maybe in the next 10 years Conroe and The Woodlands will become as blue as Fort Bend County. The Montgomery County parts of Spring are also becoming Democrat but not to the same extent. I'd say the OP's best bet is maybe Klein (The part that people often erroneously call "Spring west of I-45) it still has a lot of Republican areas and it's the second largest majority-Republican city in America.
1. Klein isn't erroneously called Spring (it's part of Spring), and Klein isn't a city.

2. Klein is an area within the postal designation of Spring.

3. Spring is two things.......

a CDP, and a much, much , much larger postal designation that includes the CDP.

The Spring CDP = east of 45, all in Harris County, south of Spring Creek, think 77373 zip code.

The Spring postal designation....two counties (Harris and Montgomery), all or parts of eight zip codes (and includes all of Klein, but not all of Klein ISD...some of Klein ISD = Houston addresses), and services from some or all of 5 different school districts.....over 300,000 people, and, IIRC, over 150 square miles.....and includes most of The Woodlands (TW = some pockets of other address designations...think Conroe, Magnolia, and Tomball). Go look at both post offices in The Woodlands (Metro and Gosling), both have Spring, TX plastered on the front as the address. Look at the Klein post office on and deep into Louetta Rd (away from 45)...the address plastered on the front = Spring, TX.

You could pretty much say that Spring is FOUR things...in addition to the two you noted:

+ SPRING ISD which extends east and west of 45 - larger than the CDP but not as large as the postal Spring

+ the original historic town of SPRING (now identified as Old Town Spring)

If you are literally talking about a community that welcomes proud MAGA swag (and not just voting red), you might look at Tavola - perhaps the most upscale neighborhood in the New Caney ISD. It would be a long drive into Houston, but it looks like some great homes are going in. You could also drive part of the way into Houston and then take the park and ride between Kingwood and Humble which wouldn't be so bad!

The schools look like they won't be as high performing as some of the other options mentioned, but I don't think you will be harassed for the swag.

(If New Caney has gone blue or purplish in my absence from Texas, please feel free to chime in - I may easily have missed something.)_

Yes, in an overall sense.

I actually thought about adding those two right after I posted, but I felt that that might be a bit too peripheral and esoteric in relation to what I was trying to point out (judgement call...perhaps excluding those was best, and perhaps not)

One other thing to add.....Old Town Spring is within the CDP.

Look at Cypress, Bridgeland, Towne Lake, Rock Creek, Lakes of Fairhaven and surrounding neighborhoods.

Cypress is MAGA.

Tomball & Klein are MAGA too.

Tomball yes. Cypress, no. A large part of Cypress is in Lizzie Fletchers district and that are voted for her. Cypress is very moderate.

Lizzie Fletcher is NOT a "moderate" sorry.

She literally votes in lock step with Nanci Pelosi.

That isnt true but Im not interesting in arguing about it.

Either way, that only goes further to my point that Cypress isnt MAGA, but is more middle of the road.
