Does anyone know if the vanbrooke area floods a lot? Considering moving from midland-Odessa and buying a home there from Westin developers. Is there a website I can check out flooding zones?

I don't think the neighborhood was around during Harvey as it's pretty new. It's just north of Fulshear, so in general you are probably ok. That being said - it would be prudent to go ahead an purchase flood insurance - should be about $500/year. The neighborhood does not have a LID tax (Levee Improvement District), suggesting the area elevation probably keeps it in a FEMA Zone X for flood rating.
