The Texas Tower and 609 at Main are really changing up the skyline…

You ain't lying, and I think it's a good thing. I remember Downtown Houston being a ghost town after 5pm in the 90s up to the early 2000s. Once 2010s hit, that's when DT started a resurrection.

Downtown Houston is awesome during the day.

I just wonder why it doesn't have a presence at night. Did Wells Fargo tower go "lights out" for good? Kind of miss its' prominence at night.

Houston nightlife long ago moved mostly out of downtown due to how dangerous it can be after dark.

If you don’t spend anytime downtown, just say it. There are a fair amount of people hanging out on Main Street, and where The Bravery food hall and McIntyre’s (Old Spaghetti factory) are located Thurs-Sun evenings. Foot traffic should further increase after The Post opens soon.

Downtown Houston isn’t my cup of tea in term of nightlife (for now) but it certainly has something going. It’s a more laid back vibe as compared to the vibrant Midtown but it’s beautiful in the Main St areas and perhaps the Post Houston will give it a new perspective

Midtown is horrific. Drunk yuppies barfing in the bushes. Glad I didn't shell out for one of those apartments or condos above that nightmare.
