Hey!

I am looking to live in Houston but I will be working in Conroe. Can anyone tell me if the traffic would be horrible this way? I was told that I would be going against traffic to work in Conroe because everyone is going to work in Houston. Vice versa i would also be going against traffic to Houston because most people live outside of Houston. How true is this? Please help me ASAP!

Thanks loadss!!!

My mom takes about 1 1/2 hours each way to commute from Houston to Conroe. She uses the Hardy Toll Road.

If your coming to Conroe from Downtown Houston, then yes you are going against traffic but it is still a 30 plus mile drive. They are still doing construction on I-45 that leads to Conroe, so expect traffic during peak hours.

You should consider residing in the Woodlands. Very nice area especially if your "family oriented."

If your single and want the club action, then your probably are better off staying near the city.

See, my family moved to the city because home prices were lower and my dad HATED commuting to work. Right now he works in Downtown Houston. My mom just recently started reverse commuting to Conroe.
