As odd as it may sound to some, I am not on Facebook... just curious, but not enough to join Facebook... give me a hint... what would I do?

Personally I know quite a few people who are not on Facebook. At least your data isn't sold daily to stealthy data brokers, and you aren't incessantly tracked and bombarded with advertisements. It's not a bad choice. When we use FB, it's not free. We pay with our personal info. It's actually a smart choice.

That being said, the people in that group tend to be ahem... 'less refined'... and a good read of their discussion topics would probably discourage somebody from moving there. Discussions center around rants about Wal-Mart, Taco Bell, and the cheapest buffet line. There are very nice neighborhoods in Alvin for sure, but I don't think 'Talk of Alvin' has many representatives from Alvin's finest.

Ha-ha... okay, I think I got it... is there a Chinese Buffet, or Golden Corral close by?
