I know exactly what you mean. Being from Miami originally, I also have trouble finding a regular barber to go to and I have found maybe two good black barbers but they don't do eyebrows and even though they were good there was still something that was a bit off. But yea, it's going to be difficult to find what you want here. Let me know if you do find one.

I'm a born Venezuelan with a Dominican grandmother. I go to a Dominican barber named Ramez in the Westside of Houston. Not quite the Southwest but close by. West Houston Central Blvd @ Richmond is where his shop is at. Everytime I come here they got Dominicans speaking Dominicans waiting for their cut too. All speaking strong accent Dominican Spanish. Really it feels sumtin like home, in contrast with Mexican Spanish. Nothing against Mexican, just I just feel at home where I grew up. The Venezuelan Spanish is similar and I also was close to many Dominicans in my life. But back to the main topic, the barber is great and he's Dominican, used to live in NYC. Definitely give him a try. Now he only does appointments. His # is +1 (832) 434-4071

I know a good Puerto Rican barber from NY. He charges 20 or 25 but his haircuts are always on the money. Hit me back if you want his info.

BTW he is the barber for some famous baseball players and his fee is $15 but is totally worth it.
