I don't claim to have all of the answers either but FACE IT WHETHER U LIKE IT OR NOT OUR TAX DOLLARS PAY THE WAY FOR A LOT OF IDEAS I/WE DON'T BELIEVE IN...THAT'S AMERICA....WHETHER WRONG OR RIGHT!!!!!!
And I don't like it. What I would like to see is the disparagement of my own taxes--my taxes will fix "this" or "that"...and many wish it were so too. Too bad most public "American way" ideas would dry up and wither away

You got that right! Look, if this seemed to veer into a racism/bigotry type of conversation, that is/was not my intent. I am not racist nor a bigot. I am RESPONSIBLE for me and mine and if others started living that way I think many problems will disappear.

Totally agree...noone should get offended...the purpose of this forum is "expression" (within certain boundaries of course!)

Very kind of you to speak for the rest of the thread! Seeing that my reputation points went up 16 on that comment alone, they must have felt that I did indeed have some valuable insight.
