I used to live in Florida. Our HOA fees cover cable TV, water/sewer/garbage.

Not sure what do they cover in cinco ranch.

Cinco HOA went up a bit this year... gosh I think $935/yr? I live in Cinco 2 if that's a difference...

HOA covers amenities (8 pools) countless parks, greenbelts, community center, etc... It does not cover any utilities.

If you are interested in it covering utilities, check the threads about WESTHEIMER LAKES... it is a "Canyon Gate" community and has an annual fee that includes phone, cable, TV, alarm, etc... Some people have been grousing about it being "mandatory"... but the neighborhood was advertised to have this bundle as one annual fee... all the homes were built pre-wired and ready to go.

The HOA fee and fee for bundled services are separate fees at Westheimer Lakes.
