I am seeking some input on the Humble area. My husband's job has transferred him from here in Michigan to the Houston area. We have three children, ages 4, 11, and 12. I have done tons of research and we are leaning towards relocating to the Humble area. I have been told that the Atascocita schools are really good schools. We have also been checking on housing, which rent seems to be really steap there. The majority of the 3 to 4 bedroom homes that we have come across range from $1000 to $1500. Does anyone have any information on other areas that they would recommend? Also, any info you can give on finding some affordable rental homes. I know that the ones I am finding on the real estate sites probably arent the cheapest. My husbands job is located on the East side of Houston, so we would like to keep his commute to around 30min. one way. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
