Items like: baked pork chop over fried rice, spicy spaghetti, baked chicken over pasta, bolognese, etc. If anyone is familiar with San Gabriel Valley--that type of food. Yeah, I'm sure it's in the area, but I've only found one and it wasn't very good. Traditional Chinese I have no problem finding.

thats sound more like Tokyo food with fried rice. well you might want to try Aloha Grill on westheimer.
I make spicy filipino spaghetti, thats quite easy since I'm near asian stores and my wife loves it.

I don't eat Chinese food but a brand new one just opened in Pearland on 528 called Healthy Chinese Buffet and the line outside this weekend was about a 4 day wait to eat. They had to have the piggies come to chase people from trying to park in the street.

PF Chang's is good but not a buffet. I tried Lucky Village and was not impressed. Definitely not worth going out my way for. I'm still searching for a a Chinese food buffet with good quality food. Probably not going to be able to find one.
When I lived in Nashville there was a nice sit down Chinese restaurant that would have a buffet for lunch from 11-2. It was small and didn't have a wide selection but the food was higher quality. Guess that's what I'm looking for.
