I'm considering a relocation from Columbus, OH for work. I'm in desperate need of recommendations on the best neighborhoods/schools. I've got to make some decisions and get moved before school starts. I've got kids ages 4-15. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
My wife and I live in the Southside of Huntington with our kids and we absolutely love it. We are close to parks, close to downtown, can walk just about anywhere and when we do need to get in the car, we can get to Target or the mall in less than 15 min. Our kids go to Southside Elementary and we have been very please thus far. This feeds into Huntington Middle School and then Huntington High School.
If you prefer to live outside of the city itself, I would recommended Barboursville. Barboursville is much smaller but still convenient. Your kids would go to the Village of Barboursville Elementary, Barboursville Middle and Cabell Midland HS. I hope this helps a little and let me know if you have any other questions.
