I am looking for a 3 or 4 bedroom home for rent or for sale on a land contract around the outskirts of huntington (barboursville, salt rock, green valley area) just some place away from everything and quiet. I have been looking for a old farm house or just anything out in the country a little and cant find anything. I have been searching herald dispatch classifieds, craigslist you name and I cant find anything. Please if you have anything or know anyone that has anything please let me know or point them my way. I have good references and a good job just cant find what we need. Thanks

Are you already in the area? If so, I suggest driving around in the areas that might have what you want and looking for a for sale sign. Make sure to check along Route 2 (a lot of farms up that way, some were for sale the last time I drove that way), Little 7 mile/Barkers Ridge (off of Rt. 2), Martha Rd., along Rt. 10, Fudges Creek, Howel's Mill Rd. and the area around Milton. Sometimes people that have property like this don't advertise too heavily because they'd rather see their land left as is instead of being turned into the next big subdivision. Worth a drive to see what you can find, if you're close. Hope this helps a little.

I appreciate that tbailey. We are already in the area just having no luck we have been out driving around some and havent found to much besides an empty gas tank. But we have not checked in those areas to much so we will give it a try and see if we can find anything.
