Hi everyone! I have been wanting to move to the Huntsville/Madison area for a while, to get away from where I live now and because my family used to live there. I really don't know much about the area specifically, though.

I was offered a job in Huntsville, so I'm looking to move in the next few weeks. I don't want to give much detail, but I will be working near Lee High School/Optimist and Chapman Park area.

I have a 4 year old son. I figure I should have a year or so to rent a place and see what neighborhood/area/school we like the best before he starts school. However, I would still like to start off in a decent area this year. I'll need to rent preferably a house, but an apartment/etc would be okay. Does anyone have suggestions on where I should look for a rental? Closer to where I'll work or that would be best for my family/son that wouldn't be too far to drive? Road names/neighborhood names/etc would be tremendously helpful. Thanks!

Preferably two or more bedrooms. Price range I'd like to stay anywhere between $500-$1000 a month.

I'm not really having a problem finding things, just don't know where to restrict my search/what parts of the city to look in. I like older/downtown style houses but I also want a safe neighborhood with other children and room for my son to play. I think I may have to go with an apartment instead.

Can someone provide any helpful information for these apartments:
Monte Santo Terrace
18 Watercress Green
Mirabeau Gated Community
The Vintage at Madison Crossing
The Paddock Club at Providence

Thanks very much for any help you can give. =)
