So, how does Smashburger fare now?

I'm in a burger mood and while I tend to do Five Guys, sheesh, I always do Five Guys.

I'll be driving from Hazel Green, just to try a new place. Or, I guess what I'm fishing for here, does Smashburger really have nothing to offer that would justify that drive?

I'm a fan of Smashburger, but also a huge fan of Five Guys. We eat Smashburger a bit more frequently because my wife says Five Guys is too greasy. But I like Five Guys more. The biggest difference is probably the fries, but both are good.

I recently ate at smashburger for the first time. I liked it, and probably prefer it over Five Guys. Definitely less greasy and its cool that they have chicken options

I like it over five guys. Better flavor IMHO. I like their frys better too.

I like smash burger, but they lost a lot of points with me when they stopped serving the fries with gravy on them.

Would I drive past a 5 guys to go? No. Would I walk past the Which Wich next door to have a smash burger? No.

I had Which Wich once in Nashville. I made a really tasty wrap, meanwhile my wife and daughters were wierd and boring, respectively.

I need to do that again. Thanks for the replies, emailing this thread to my wife who talked me out of the long drive.

Well, my daughter's was just ham and american cheese, which causes me great pain as we have those ingredients at home and it's not considered a desirable sandwich to make. My wife's wrap was weird, she admitted it was weird, and I did trade some with her to ease her pain of weird sandwich.

Mine was basically a greek salad with chicken in a wrap. Easy peasy.

I did not like Wich Wich at all. The sandwich was ok, but we were 4th in line and it took 20 minutes to get our sandwich. They took way to long to make a sandwich. I'd much rather go to smash burger over both five guys and Wich Wich. I'd go to Jimmy Johns over Wich Wich.
