Thanks in advance. Hope someone can give me some general information. I am planning on contacting my HOA since they do allow detached garages but I'm just trying to get a ballpark figure for a brick clad one-car garage. Thoughts?

Well be careful,

In Madison city you have to be aware of your set backs AND density. Only then can you concern yourself with HOA.

But a one car brick doesn't sound too threatening, you honestly shouldn't have a problem.

I had a two car (20x24) detached garage built in 2009. It's not brick though, just siding. I also ran electrical to it and had a fairly long stretch of driveway extension up to the garage. It was also not finished inside, I put up OSB board myself after it was built.

Based on the price I paid, I would estimate you will pay roughly 14k-18k for a two car brick garage + electrical + driveway + gutters + anything else.

BMW Dave-thanks, I hadn't thought of that. Padmaster-thanks, I was hoping it wouldn't be more than 14k but I was thinking it might be around that amount. It at least gives me a guage.
