Calhoun has a branch in Huntsville and inside looks and feels like a dank basement. They used to have classes also on the arsenal, not sure if those classes still exist or not.

China Dragon and Asian City are the two Chinese take out places on County Line. Both are pretty good for a quick takeout meal. Sakura is the hibachi style place near Publix and is also pretty good. We have only ever had the hibachi food at Sakura, but I've heard they have decent sushi.

Sakura is great....really like the hibachi, but I'm not a huge fan of the sushi. Mikato was my favorite hibachi in town and I hated it closed. For sushi, I Love Sushi is better and my favorite was Surie, which closed.

We have gotten takeout from the place by Publix (I think that is China Dragon?) and years ago went to the place on the south part of County Line by Stem and Stein (Asian City?) when it first opened. China Dragon is pretty decent but I didn't like Asian City, but again its been a while and I think they may have changed ownership/management since then?

My favorites are Tai Pan, Saigon, and Sun Cafe. Sun Cafe's drunken noodles are fantastic and Saigon's clay pots are excellent.

So take out only.

Thanks for the info. We were looking for Chinese, but didn't want to drive to Ding How II from East Limestone.

I'm pretty simple. I love their spicy tuna rolls. I also loved the double shrimp roll, that was my all time favorite.

Scene has my favorite spicy tuna roll....it is fabulous and a bit unconventional.

Maybe I should have clarified....I don't get too exotic when it comes to sushi

Tai Pan on Madison Blvd is supposed to be really good for "sit-down" Chinese. I haven't been yet, but it is on our list of places to try.
