Anyone know what will be built in front of the Publix shopping center on Winchester Road? They have leveled the land next to McDonald's and I'm dying to know!

Default gas station?

FWIW - I asked a grocery bagger at Publix this afternoon and he said it was going to be a gas station.

i haven't been through winchester in so many months. i need to take a drive up there to see what all they are building up there. besides the nearest shopping amenities closest to me are madison square mall, university target shopping center, and bridge street. btw...i am loving bridge street every day so i am more than happy to say that i love working in that area.

I heard a gas station/convenience store as well. We could definitely use one there so I'm hoping it'll be one that doesn't charge a ton otherwise, I'll still make the drive down to Liberty! *s*

Thanks for the input!

I agree, I would have rather had a restaurant as well. We've got decent pizza (Mama Mia's), great bbq (Ole Hickory), steak or assorted (From the Grill) and chinese and mexican (if we are really wanting mexican but don't have time to drive into town), but a nice sit down restaurant that had a full bar would be great. It'll come sometime!
