Cloudmont Ski Resort, Mentone. About an hour and a half, two hours tops, from Huntsville/Madison. Temps 28 degrees and below? There's snow on the mountain and there are 2 great beginner/intermediate slopes. Equipment and all the things you'll need...but, dress warmly!
