A great source for school information is www.greatschools.net
You can view actual parent opinions, etc.
Good look with your search

Those are in Madison...a little farther away (5-10 minutes further)from UAH and off of Hughes, which has a bit of a traffic problem. Schools are great though!

I moved from Chapel Hill 2 months ago and I moved into the paddock club at providence.Apartments for rent in Huntsville, AL - The Paddock Club - Huntsville, managed by Mid-America Apartment Communities. Its a beautiful area and it's within walking distance from Providence.http://www.villageofprovidence.com. There is a super Target shopping center about a mile or 2 away and you're within 5 miles of UAH.

I have really been impressed with the quality of life here and this is by far the nicest apartment complex I have lived in as far as service and ammenities...One thing though, they have renovated most of the units here and you have to ask if you can get a new unit. You'll be glad you did everythings brand new.

Happy Hunting hope this helps!!

I can't say that Madison is nicer than Huntsville, just different. Both good but in different ways. We have lived in city of Mad and liked it. However the traffic was a little bad and I don't think it has enough of a business tax base yet. Huntsville is a little more of everything is the best way I can describe it. We like being closer to downtown, etc. Even though we are out aways, it only takes me 15 minutes to get downtown, Whitesburg area, and Jones Valley. From city of Mad it is a little longer and you deal with 565.Both have excellent school districts if you research it. If you want to be close to UAH, Mad Pike area would be a good choice.
