What do these normally run? Electric and water/sewer for a little cottage (1 story, 1br/1ba).

Are there any other high speed internet (DSL, cable, whatever) providers in the area that are cheaper than FPU?

Thanks!
Newt

Can't tell you what the electric costs for the type place you cite is, I have quite a bit bigger place with 3 people living in it. Looking at my last bill, it looks like I'm being charged .0935 per kilowat hour. (I think that's what I'd call what FPU calls "units" on my bill.)

I do have an apartment over my shop that I keep heat on enough to keep things from freezing, run some lights on timers, some people stay there occasionally, (and I think my swimming pool is on it) etc., and it ran about $30 this past month. The shop and apartment are on a separate meter.

Water is a separate bill, and I run my house, apartment, shop , etc., runs between $30-40 a month.

As far as high speed goes, there is other available, but it depends largely upon where you are. For example, I have none available at all where I live in the county. I understand Charter Cable and Mediacom and AT&T has it available to some of their customers, again depending entirely where you are. I'm sorry, I have no idea as to the cost.

Perhaps someone else from Fayetteville can be more exact.

Hi, I live in the Fayetteville area and our average utility bill is around $130. We have a 2500 SF house and keep our thermostat set at 68 winter and 76 summer. We pay an additional fee for a larger water meter than standard and a fee for a security light.

As far as internet we have Charter. The fee is dependent on which service you subscribe to and what kind of deal you can get when you sign up.
