Amy Bishop was charged with assault in 2002 IHOP dispute - Local News Updates - The Boston Globe

This gets crazier and crazier as the days go by....wonder what will come out tomorrow??
Yeah I just heard on the news that she hit the lady over the head with a coaster while she was holding her child. She definitely sounds like she was a walking time bomb.

It is interesting that people still say she is smart, I guess just because she was Harvard educated, and has a Ph.D degree. But from her academic accomplishment in recent years, according to one of the link above, I do not see she is that smart.

And now?

There wasn't anything that guy could do about it.

Default "Prof and husband paid $190,000 cash for home now valued at $230,600"

Article-
The article titled "Bishop tells court she has no assess"

The Huntsville Times front page of todays paper has an article concerning Amy Bishop and assets. I have not been able to find the article at Al.com but it does list the front cover pdf.

http://www.al.com/huntsvilletimes/pageone/friday.pdf
The Huntsville Times - Huntsville, Alabama Newspaper - al.com

Article headline -
"Prof and husband paid $190,000 cash for home now valued at $230,600"

The articles discusses how Amy Bishop had to swear to a affidavit to the fact that she has no assets, but yet the article reports her house is paid off.

Further it discusses her UAH contract ends in May (if she is not fired bfore May) assumption she is still receiving her salary of $66,000 a ear.

It’s reported the court has appointed her a Huntsville court attorney.

Question-
Why are the taxpayers of Huntsville having to pay for her attorney when
she has a house paid off and a current salary? How many law obeying people in Huntsville have a house paid?

Why must the shooting victims and the citizens of Huntsville be victimized again by this act?

If I were a family member I wouldn't like that the court costs are placed above the more personal articles at the bottom of the Times. While this case might end up costing a lot, the lifetime contributions/salaries of the victims ran into several millions, maybe even tens of millions.

...but that's not even worth mentioning as that's not what's important.

The Governor of Massachusetts has ordered a review of the 1986 shooting case. I don't believe with so much time having passed that Bishop could finally be charged for that death. The outcome probably will be a report that states the original investigation was botched, and she should have faced charges.

IMO she's not as crazy as her defense attorney is going to try and make her out to be. She didn't do this to impress Jodie Foster you know.
