Besides craigslist & Trulia can you recommend sources for current rental listings of houses, please?
Also- do more rental free up around June than in winter?
I'm a retired veteran, impeccable references for little doggy & I - don't care about the house or mobile home but desire distance from neighbors.
Single-family only, please. Not apartment, duplex, etc or tract homes.

Renting with pets, no matter the size or cute factor, is a task around here. I would suggest you contact some realty offices around as many do own rentals that allow pets.

The only advice I can give you is to avoid Reliable Property Management and any of the homes/apartments they list. I dealt with them for 2 years and wouldn't wish the same on anyone else.

It can be very, very hard to find a rental here that allows pets. The rental next door to a relative's house only allows outdoor dogs, no cats and no indoor pets. There's one apartment complex off 17th that advertises being pet friendly, but it's pretty run down.
