Elousv.......looking at your sled map, it appears the trails double as ATV/OHV trails also? Or at least some do? Looking at the 4th of July Pass area, these look like the same ones that actually go up to Clark Fork. So winter or otherwise, more or less the same trails correct?

Also, does anyone in your ATV club run a 4 place RZR? From the pics I have seen on their site, many of the trails seem big enough for the 4 place. Doing my homework........Thanx.

You are correct. There is a time during the winter (I think this winter it was 4th week in December) that they put up barracades and signs to let you know it is snowmobiles only. They now allow ATV/UTV with tracks as well. You can check out info and maps and other stuff on our nortidahoatv.org site. We have a ton of members and I am pretty sure someone has a 4 place. One of the campgrounds we go to has a 4 place Canam which is huge and goes plenty of places. Some trails are 50" only so only regular RZR and ATVs on those. On 4th of July the one side goes to Nordic people and the North side is now snowmobiles only.

Last weekend we went up to Priest Lake area. You can find a map here:
Priest Lake, Idaho snowmobile trail map and avalanche center

We started at Sundance Lodge and up to Camas Prarie warming hut. Conditions were not good for picture taking but riding was pretty good. We hit one area with a bunch of moguls and I felt that in my legs the next day. We definitely need more snow.

Husband is mighty disappointed in the snow this year after his sled was all ready but did locate the riding trails in Avery and heard about Lost Lake, are you familiar with it and is it relatively easy to locate? He plans on heading up there Saturday morning.

I have spent most of my time north of the 90. I think I went to Lost Lake on ATV once. I did find this groomer report
January 22, 2015: 61 miles groomed. Fishhook (301) to Breezy Saddle, 216 & 217 through Roundtop, 201 to Bluff Saddle, Kelley Creek. 26 degrees, excellent grooming snow. Snowing lightly in Avery this morning (Friday, January 23rd). 76 inches at Lost Lake!

Back side of Ponderay this time. Mostly FSR 278 and 1050.

Oh jeez clouds, what to do what to do...

So depressing, even this guy is flashing me his beehind;

Seriously though, it simply does not get any better than this. It is like riding in a freaking postcard.

Down in Lakeview;

Above the lake;

Wonder what the working people are doing?

Way back in the woods. Had to turn around due to fallen trees.
