Can a home owner safely hunt on their own property in CDA or surrounding areas? Are there many restrictions?

You can hunt on your own property as long it's within hunting season, you still must posses the appropriate license and tags.

It may also be worth noting that there isn't a legal requirement for others to get your permission to hunt on your property unless it is posted "No Trespassing" or if it is cultivated.

Review Of Rules For Hunting On Private Land

It would probably be neighborly of them to ask permission first though.

I was just going to post this. I plan to move there hopefully next year. I wouldn't have a problem if someone wanted to hunt on my property as long as they don't harass my horses and the hunt is done safely.

I wonder how many rural folks with 10 acres or more hunt deer/turkeys/rabbits on their own land without license/tags? I bet it is a LOT!

I know a lot of people that no longer hunt because the AVERAGE hunter now, is NOT ethical. Most of the ones that are ethical would agree with this.
