Because they know that Americans have had enough. We are sick of them and their Mexican pride. If they like it so much, they can go back. They know we are sick of them taking jobs that "no American would do". They know we are sick of them coming in here and LEECHING off our systems and popping out anchor babies like fleas reproducing behind a dirty dogs ears.

If it's an invasion, as many claim, the numbers would being going up as the "invaders" continue to arrive..

Yes the numbers have dipped. But they have not dropped to 0. Infact 200,000 is a small number compared to the estimated 10 to 20 million.
The economy has a lot to do with it.
Less work available to illegals some will return to their own countries.
LOL..we keep census tabs on "illegals" ? Like they step up and raise their hands to be counted ?
I think the true number is rather grossly underreported.
And that is just based on my past trips to south Texas compared to past years.

In many cases the flow is diverted. AZ, OK and CA have created laws that have gotten many of the "invaders" to jump ship to other States. I think if you talk to someone in New Mexico or Colorado you will understand where they are heading.
As was previously stated, when you have an open door with a line, and finally someone opens the a door for some to exit, doesn't stop the invasion. They are still coming.
Or is the Border Patrol all playing cards on their shifts now? This is a giant chess match that is State vs Fed.
Since they come to work, for the most part, this is not surprising. It would drop even more if there weren't more enforcement, because they could return when economic conditions improve.
