I find his crude language incredibly off putting.

At the same time the truth is that illegal migrants often have far more children and do so at far younger ages than their American counterparts. They continue to have children even when they cannot support them. The grossly offensive expectation within the illegal migrant community is that Americans are indeed supposed to support their poorly thought out reproductive decisions with subsidized housing, food stamps and even direct cash payments.

Their reproductive decisions are vastly out of line with mainstream American values as well as social destructive to a population that relies on an educated workforce. It is hardly inappropriate to point this out.

You speak in generalization of a group of people that you could not posibly know of from first hand knowledge.

to some, generalizations, just like just made you make are are crude and offensive.

Seems to me, the language is offsive to you, not the concept.

Are you denying the fact that illegal aliens tend to have a high birth rate?

WASHINGTON — The number of U.S.-citizen children born to illegal immigrants has dramatically increased over the past five years from 2.7 million in 2003 to 4 million in 2008, according to a study released Tuesday.

Provisional data for 2009 found that an estimated 4,136,000 babies were born in the United States in 2009, a 2.6 percent drop from 2008, according to the National Center for Health Statistics.

The drop follows a 2 percent fall in births that occurred between 2007 and 2008, which pushed the nation's fertility rate below 2.1 per woman, meaning Americans were no longer giving birth to enough children to keep the population from declining.
The Checkup - U.S. birth rate falls again, a possible effect of economic downturn

Does this mean that Americans are breeding like sterile lab rats?

Illegals have a positive birthrate...

Did you not see that the U.S. birthrate is falling likely due to the economic downturn? It just makes sense not to make more babies without jobs and resources to care for them. When the economy is good again our citizen birthrates will probably increase.

You call having more babies that you can't care for "positive"? Oh, that's right the illegals know the government will take care of them compliments of the U.S. taxpayer so they don't give a damn.

As Benicar pointed out I merely pointed out the general trend in the illegal migrant community. Their birth rates are far above the American norm. Their high school drop out rates are also far above the norm. Their earning power is below the norm as a result. They pay little in taxes and take from tax till.

Far too many come to this country highly unprepared. Those who did so in previous waves of migration and could not support themselves here were simply deported. Today they are unfortunately supported by American welfare policies that allow anyone to give birth on American soil and claim benefits from the American taxpayer.

These are factual statements not generalizations. One does not need to meet every single illegal migrant to point out the overall poor behavior in the community. Just because the truth is less than flattering does not make it offensive.

Unless, of course, you believe that no negative statements must ever be uttered about low skilled law breakers and their irrational and arrogant behavior. I reserve the right to argue otherwise.

So you can't make assertions about any given group unless you've met every single person in that group?
