I don't get the romanticized part. Why in the world would any loyal American romanticized about a reconquista movement? That is like saying one is looking forward to their own genocide.
Read his quote again. Maybe this time you will get it.

Actually, the Aztlan/reconquista types try to claim that the tribes indigenous to Mexico were like in a brotherhood with the tribes indigenous to the U.S. They like to think that all Native Indians were blood connected and all shared a common culture.
I wouldn't use the strong word "hate". However, some Mexican-Americans don't like the illegal immigration situtation but far too many are sympathizers because most illegals are Mexicans.

My buddy is mexican by decent, lived here his whole life as do his parents.
He hates Illegal Mexicans with a passion, calls them *******s, if he was white everyone would say hes racist..lol
That's bologna. Whites are the ones that romanticize us. I do find it funny that so many Whites are complaining about 'illegal' immigrants.
Payback is a mutha...well, you know. What goes around comes around.
You're embarassing yourself.
Payback? From whom? Certainly not anybody who has the right to "payback" anyone.
The average Mexican has no connection to anything that happened in the 1800s by the United States.
After America "took" the Southwest from Mexico (who "took" those territories from Spain, who "took" those territories from native USA Indians... not native MEXICAN Indians).... the "Mexicans" living in those territories became American. Only 9% of Mexicans in the USA today can trace their lineage back to those people who lived in "Mexican" territories when the USA took over the Southwest (and I bet the majority thank their lucky stars every day that the USA implemented control over the area, lest they be like their god awful Mexico today).
Indios from Chiapas justifying their lawlessness and illegal settlement in the USA on some cosmic theory of "inigenous solidarity and right" are jokes.

Besides -- it might not seem nice to use the term "multiplying like rats" but it is the illegals, the La Razas who are constantly proclaiming that with their high birth rates and high illegal immigration rates that they are taking over this country. The men feel very very manly if they can keep their women knocked up even if they can't afford to even buy their children shoes but rely on the American taxpayers for that.
They're the ones actually bragging about their super high fertility and taking over the USA by birthrates. So they have little room to complain when someone comments on just that.
