My question to Steve Israel, who worked to get her back here:

Why weren't her parents picked up and deported when their daughter was returned to them? It was broadcast that they were illegal. Both he and the family's attorney are aiding criminals.

Due to our pandering government, and the powerful and well-funded PC lobby, illegals know they can brazenly broadcast their status without the fear of deportation. After all, no one wants to be called a racist or accused of separating families.

In addition, Obama doesn’t want the “non-criminals” deported. The fact that this couple would have to at least be guilty of tax evasion, or ID theft and/or fraud to work in this country is obviously inconsequential, and does not qualify as “criminal” behavior. Only citizens and legal residents should be prosecuted for those crimes.

Technically she wasn't "deported". This little girl was returned to Guatemala with her grandfather at the parent's request. That was the option they chose, rather than risk detainment themselves by picking her up.

Exactly! Those who are "actually" deported are not eligible to return. This child is eligible to return.

Exactly, she WASNT actually deported. her parents chose to send her with her grandfather. And anytime illegal parents are deported its only right that the children are sent with them. Those children (anchor babies) are not our respomsibility they are their parents responsibility. the parents choose to come here illegally so they have to face consequences no matter what the consequences are, they know full and well that they are breaking the law s it is ignorant to think that just cuz the have an american born child does not give them the right to be here'!!!!!!!

Absolutely! They are calling it a “communications” mix up. She has now been reunited with her family, and is being treated like royalty, according to a CNN report. They believe her case underscores our need for “immigration reform” to prevent the separation of these U.S.-born children from their "undocumented" parents.

New York (CNN) -- Four-year-old Emily Ruiz flew first class from Guatemala to the United States Wednesday for a tearful reunion with her mom, dad and younger brother.

Immigration officers treated her like royalty, said her lawyer, David Sperling. After her plane landed in Florida, one officer called her the "princess of Miami," he said.

The selfishness of these people is beyong reprehensible. I would literally die for any of my kids or grandkids yet these POS parents chose to give their kid away to maintain their easy lifestyle. And the libs go nuts trying to protect them.

You, and all other “loving” parents and grandparents. For many illegals, these children are mere pawns and a source of income. Since they still had one child they could exploit, I suppose, as far as they’re concerned, she was expendable.
