I'm all for what our Governor is doing. Put the incarcerated folks in the fields as well along with the people on probation. No reason why they should get to lay around all day with 3 hots and a cot.
When my ex-husband was sent to prison for possession of meth, sawed off shotgun, etc. our boys did not receive child support for 2 years he was in prison. This way a prisoner can work and send something at least to his/her children.
I think I found my new hang out spot on this site. I posted yesterday in my state's (Georgia) forum about my views on immigration, anchor babies, etc and you would have thought I shot the Pope!
So we're replacing one group of criminals with another?
No, we are replacing illegal CRIMINAL immigrants with American EX-CONS who have done their time and paid their debts to society. They committed a crime, got arrested, went to jail/prison, did the time and now are being rewarded with the chance to be gainfully employed and made a part of their community.
With illegals, they commit the crime and then go right to the reward of being employed, given a political voice and supported by the tax payer.
