i wish that every city would take advantage of this. this is what a responsible government would do to protect its citizens.

I wish all cities would do the same. And while they are at it check their papers. If they are illegal deport them. If they are combative, taz them.

I absolutely love the fact that they are upset. Tell them to go back to their own damn country and get mad at them and leave us the hell alone. I just wish we could send the illegal lovers with them and strip them of their citizenship. Oh well, one can wish anyway!!!!

I was happy to hear about them being so upset, which would be the reason I posted the same basic story yesterday.

Callers support Irving's deportation policy

Many disagree with those who oppose increased deportations

That would be the logical thing to do if the US government actually wanted to get rid of the illegals and secure our borders.

These deportations are a joke. The ones that they actually do make. But a huge number of deportations are now being done by US Mail. That is, once an illegal alien is released due to his anchor baby, the government simply mails a deportation letter to the illegals last known address. And the illegal never leaves the country.

Besides, Bush knows we're having 5 to 10 thousand illegals sneak in every single day. So these little busts really aren't even a drop in the bucket. They're nothing more than window dressing. Bush wants to push through an amnesty next summer, to justify it he'll point to these pitiful deportations where half the people busted get released due to their anchor babies.

Just another way to try and fool us to thinking they want an end to illegals.

Also:
"We need to raise our voice and we need to ask for changes about the things we don't like here," said Hector Flores, a leader in Irving's Hispanic community.

Umm we have rapists in jails but "they dont like it" Its called a law incase you never heard of one...

We are all anchor babies, in some way. Being born inside these borders is pure luck, regardless of the status of our parents. Punishing the children is not a humane approach, in my opinion.
