Of course it's wrong, it's a criminal act and it also leads to organized criminal groups becoming involved, all kinds of identity theft, felony document fraud. Illegals don't blink an eye over having their children turned over to violent criminal rings that will smuggle them in, and have them at great risk of being raped. The money rewards are too tempting, money becomes more important than the life and safety of their children.
Another way that illegal immigration is wrong is because it does absolutely nothing for those left behind -- why work hard for a living when the one family member in the USA is sending what seems like tons of money every month. Children grow up without their parents, they are being taught that the monthly wire of money is much more important than having a parent.
Illegal immigration only feeds more illegal immigration, more countries begin to see it as a win-win, they not only can rid themselves of their lowest classes, their most incapable but some will send money back for a time.
And just like the arguments of the pro-illegals mimic exactly the arguments of the pro-slavery types --- they must have their ultra cheap labor, their dirt wage servants, they begin to believe they are entitled to nothing but the very cheapest workers the third world can send them.
And millions of people pouring into this country who are unable to adapt, support themselves, adjust to our culture, learn our language is terrible for this country.
OK but once they reach adulthood, should they be held for something they did as a child? Or rather what their parents did?
Should an adult be ticketed because their parents didn't make them wear a seat belt when they were 3?
No, children should never be held responsible for their parent's behavior. However, many adults brought to this country as children are now committing the same criminal acts as their parents, such as using stolen and fake IDs, tax evasion, and drunk driving. As adults, they should suffer the consequences. Granted, some have chosen not to follow that path, but others have.
If a woman steals my wallet & gives to her kid the cash contained therein, do I need to let the kid keep my money?
Exactly. Children of other criminals are not rewarded for their parents' lawlessness. Children of embezzlers, tax cheats, bank robbers, shoplifters don't get some big reward out of their parents criminality. They very often suffer the consequences of having parents who chose to break the laws.
Children of illegals actually expect that they should be rewarded. They even believe that because they are to be rewarded with quick easy citizenship, their lawbreaking parents also have deserved some right to stay here with them.
