I don't consider Texas to be the South in terms of slavery and poor treatment of blacks. Texas had slavery for 50 years, while other states had slavery for 200+ years. States like Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, have rampant rates of poverty among people of all colors much moreso than Texas. The consequences of poor treatment of certain peoples, including illegal alien criminal invaders, are serious. If your going to be a Texan tough guy and put your spur to my neck this conversation is not worth it, but if you can pull yourself out of macho land, we can have a peaceful debate.

Boy, that's for sure! I don't get FREE healthcare, and FREE schools for my kids, and FREE welfare, and FREE food stamps, etc. etc. *I* PAY for these things, one way or another, whether I'm rich or poor. The U.S. citizen is treated worse than these illegals sometimes.
Our government panders to the Mexican government, and encourages them to send their poor to us. They will give everything to the illegals, just to keep them here so that the corporations don't have to pay decent wages. But, WE end up paying more, because of the drain on social services!
WE, the U.S. citizens, PAY the taxes, and FIGHT the wars, and we are not "pandered to" as these illegals are.
