Report: Mexicans who go home have less interest in returning to U.S. (2014, birth)

More than half of Mexican immigrants who moved back home said in a recent survey that they have no intention of returning to the U.S., even though many left family here and most had positive experiences.
Those were among the findings of a recent report that said the cycle of Mexican-U.S. immigration has reached the “end of an era.” “We recognize a new era of return migration where record numbers of Mexicans are returning home and fewer are coming to the United States,” said Aracely Garcia-Granados, executive director of the nonprofit Mexicans and Americans Thinking Together.

This is nonsense. since when has illegals turn down handouts? This is misinformation.
Illegal aliens filing for tax returns is setting records every year. Illegal aliens costing LA is setting records every year. If they were leaving at least the amounts should be leveling off not still going up.

It might be starting to go down like that.

IMHO it's because Mexico's birthrate is dropping like a stone and; there are fewer and fewer Mexicans under about 40 years old out of its population in 2014. Back in the day there were MORE Mexican people under 40 compared to the older people. Why I say it's important is because people as they get old DON'T like moving from 1 country to another, especially illegally.

Those illegal aliens will still need to get through Mexico 1st and word is Mexico doesn't play real well with even Hispanics from LatAm.

I don't have a link but latest reports indicate illegal immigration has reached a big zero from Mexico!

However, that doesn't mean the same holds true for other central and southern American countries.
