I just saw an article that stated over 83% are young men around the age of 18 or slightly under. Only a handful are children. But where would you suggest these children go if all alone here? How did they get here? I doubt they had to walk from central America. I think Mexico should take them in. Mexico has lots of money and they will not take care of their poor. I am tired of Mexico.......

Employers given a choice who would you choose?
Uh; not THIS US citizen! When I was out of work not too long ago I was making calls, sending e mails and even pounding the pavement till I got a job.

Yet we have been duped to believe that the majority are kids. I don't consider anyone over the age of 12 to be a kid per se.

There are lots of Americans who want to adopt a child from a poor country. Have a fire sale on Mexican and Guatemalan kids, offer steep steep discounts and expedited shipping.

I would choose someone that wouldn't lead to me getting my butt hauled into court.

Don't we have enough of our own kids needing adoption?

We can't use tax dollars for veterans programs yet we can house, clothe, educate, feed, and provide free medical care for tens of millions of illegal immigrants coming here, stealing identities and then getting tax payer funded housing, education, etc.
The other day The New York time published an article about this and I argued the same: what about American homeless and people in need, what about the VA system, what about much needed reforms in edu and healthcare, etc. etc.? People were so offended with my argument and replied back calling me names because I wouldn't considered the "correct and humane approach." I'm sorry but if we are in debt I would make sure to provide for my own family before going out to take care of every stranger. Why the government doesn't see it this way when it's American people's money they are wasting is beyond me... Oh well

The defenders of illegal aliens don't seem to care about applying any of that humanness towards our own citizens. Our own families are supposed to suffer so we can care for those who had no respect for our immigration laws and yet they take the moral high ground? What kind of bizarre thinking is that?
