A journalist had a very good question - what is the message the US is sending when those in Central America see how the US is providing for them. An Field Office Director Enrique had no answer. The answer he gave didn't come close to the question asked.

The journalist is right - what is the message the US is sending??

Well if the US didn't want to send a message, then congress could pass a law solving the problem since it's largely caused by a law that requires that kids from countries not touching the US be treated differently. Of course, the Tea Bagging nutjobs in congress didn't want to work with their own party or the Democrats to pass anything.

So it's the republicans fault for not giving Obama everything he wants??

Republicans don't want to take in every illegal that comes into the country. Republicans want to speed up deportation. Republicans don't want to give citizenship away. Obama wants quite the opposite and more, but it's the republicans fault? Right!!

Obama won't even entertain any revisions to the 2008 bill by Bush that would prevent these waves of illegals entering the country.

Apparently Obama doesn't know the art of negotiation. Each party gives something, each party gets someone. Now that Obama can't get everything he wants, he wants to find a way around the 2008 bill and other laws to get what he wants so that he can once again get what he wants by the stroke of a pen. He doesn't care what the majority of Americans want, and as of now, the majority of Americans, 53%, seem to be of the same mind. Stop illegal immigration, deport, deport, deport and stop making illegals a priority over the American people.

Now Obama wants to set up clearance stations (recruitment stations) in the crap hole countries to "interview" people who could "qualify" to be brought to the US under "refugee" status. Nothing but democrat base building. None of these illegals went to the American embassy in their home country to request refugee status, as is the legal procedure, they just crossed the border and Obama gave them refugee status.

Agree. It is pretty sad when the greatest nation on the planet gives more consideration and support to people who just crossed the border than American Veterans who fought for America and are now missing arms, legs, have brain injuries, or a combination of the above.

American people are hurting, infrastructure is falling apart, middle class is disappearing, yet our government gives free food, medical treatment, housing, transportation, clothes, education, psychological counseling, legal advice to people who cross the river and have taken one step onto American soil. Absolutely disgusting !!

Give it up please! look I have tapes of Obama in 2008/09 stating on these tapes. That he would straighten out and protect our borders. Get immigration under control. And see to it, that border city's would be protected and under control. None of this other crap, he is doing now.

Please he had his time too get this under control, and he did as usual not a damn freaken thing.

He is the biggest inmature bully I have ever seen. He wants respect, but does not give it back, takes two too play a game not one.

Do not say it is one sided, because your part of the damn problem, both sides need to come to grip, but how can you with a pig headed, stubborn as a damn mule inmature person as President. When in reality he only sees his way.
