President Barack Obama's lack of action on immigration reform is causing serious trouble to the White House dreams of his fellow liberal Democrat, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Now, Obama is facing a looming deadline, and Chicago Hispanic group Centro Sin Fronteras' founder and leader, Emma Lozano, threatens that Latinos will draft one of their own, Rep. Luis Gutierrez of Illinois, to oppose Clinton for the Democratic nomination,

Is this a joke? IF the Dems are any kind of serious having Gutierrez: they'd LOSE the White House to Bush 43 if HE ran again and, that Bush ain't liked at all.

It doesn't surprise me that a radical ultra left wing group like Sin Fronteras would love to see the little traitor Gutierrez in the White House.

What is scary is that anyone would take an extremist group seriously. There once was a time in our history where groups that were far left or far right were never taken seriously. However, their existence was tolerated because we have freedom of speech. Yet now groups like La Raza, Sin Fronteras, Brown Berets and LULAC have politicians shaking in their boots and just about falling over themselves to please these radicals.

Sin Fronteras should also realize that one reason Gutierrez keeps getting re-elected is that the corrupt Illinois democrat machine gerrymandered a district just for him. I have to give it to the corrupt politicians---they sure do know where the low information voters live. I feel bad for the people who live in Gutierrez's district who are intelligent voters. It must be really frustrating and depressing for them.

So an obvious ethnocentric traitor to the American people who puts illegal foreigners above them is the choice of these groups? What does that say about them?

I hope Gutierrez does get the nomination because he most definitely will lose!

Exactly, and would look really stupid at the same time.

So there are a significant number of people who want to overplay their position by supporting somebody with a radical open agenda. What a brilliant concept...good luck with that...I don't suppose any of the Gutierrez supporters read the Internet and understand that now is not the time for them to pull out the stops -- there are still millions and millions of people who live in "fly-over country" who will not quietly march into the sunset.

They should give him the nomination.
From reading his previous speeches it will do the country good to hear it out loud across the land.

Let him tell American citizens how he is going to punish them because we don't support open borders and amnesty.
Let him tell us how Amnesty will "protect the borders and Americans"
Let him tell us how Amnesty will be "easy and often"

Let him tell us everything he's told the illegals because it's our votes that count. Illegals can't even vote.

Not just "fly over" people: many people on the coasts; even some "liberals" WILL sit out the 2016 election if that Gutierrez fool gets the Dem nod or worse, those "libs" may vote Repub.

For a group that doesn't wish to be identified as illegals and don't like the stereotype, they sure seem to be hell bent on reenforcing it through their actions.
News flash. Not 1 illegal is an honest person. Not 1 illegal deserves special consideration. We have a system, flawed as it may be, that millions have successfully used to enter this country legally. The majority of which are hispanic. The excuse that it can't be done is as lame as it gets considering the numbers who have done it. More to the point we owe no one a VISA and we have every right to enforce our laws, set the bench mark wherever we feel it needs to be to benefit this nation.
Criminals deserve 1 thing and that is to be treated like criminals.
