We are as guilty as descendants of these people we won't afford amnesty

Good try attempting to equate those crossing the border illegally (the "guilty") with those born here, no cigar.

Put away those MSNBC flash cards.

I love how the liberals and the amnesty supporters attempt to paint anyone who is pro- enforcement of our laws as a racist.
Fact: Hispanics account for the vast majority of (legal) immigration.
Fact: The United states allows more immigration than any other country on earth and arguably more than all others combined.
Fact: There is no bill or any law on the books that singles out whites as the only acceptable immigrant.
The reality is that as a nation we do have the right to determine our own immigration laws and like any other nation our laws should be designed to benefit this nation. We have no obligation to developing nations, oppressed nations, or anyone else for that matter, to allow any immigration that does not meet our criteria.
We don't owe any illegal special consideration regardless of their age when they were brought here. We are not the bad guy in the story, the parents of the Dreamers are.

I just never get how people think the way you do. For starters, the so called native people came here as well, they did not just spring up out of the dirt.
So unless you want to try and say by virtue of them arriving here first(having never purchased this land either), it does not make any sense. Even if they did arrive first, how does that give them claim?

Regardless of that, once we became a nation, we set immigration laws that have served us well, and should be followed today.
Lets not forget that other nations, including Mexico have their own immigration laws, and do not allow just anyone to become citizens because they enter illegally.

To those PC types who scream it is because of race, there is no racism against Hispanic immigrants. They are allowed to follow the procedure and legally immigrate, have done so over many years, and will continue to do it the right way.
Yet the bleeding hearts (who also have unsavory political motivations) want to reward those who broke our laws and allow them to jump in front of everyone doing it the right way.
It's both funny and sad how this fact is ignored or brushed aside when liberals advocate for illegal aliens to receive amnesty.

Illegal immigration is not a race issue, at least not always and should be discussed in a broader context than just skin color.
Also, if everybody would focus on saying what they think, instead of putting words in the mouths of those they disagree with, the level of these "discussions" would be a lot higher.
