Now, exactly why would the country of Chile care if we build a fence or not? because, of course, they want their citizens to be able to sneak into our country illegally. There is no other reason whatsoever.

Chile protests construction of U.S.-Mexico border fence

Santiago, Chile (AHN) - Chile has joined the growing number of nations against the construction of a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. The Chilean Senate passed a resolution formally protesting the continued building of a wall on the border, saying it is an insult to Latin American countries.
Unbelievable; flippin' unbelievable.........

What right does Chile have in telling us to not secure our borders? That childish attitude is an insult against the USA.

Comparing our border fence to the Berlin Wall is asinine to say the least; the German people on both sides of said Wall hated it. Us Americans have little or no heartburn in sealing off that dysfunctional, de facto lawless nation S of the Rio Grande.

If Mexico were economically better than America and we were crossing the border by the millions what would they say?

If the USA can illegally invade other countries and try to tell them how to run their country then what difference is it when Mexico or Chile tell us not to build somthing on OUR land?

Chilean Senators Jaime Naranjo and Pedro Munoz authored the resolution on December. They said the wall is a racist policy...
Anyone really surprised that this was branded a racist policy?

We should be throwing these illegal aliens in prison, instead we usually simply kick them out of the country. Hardly racist.

Good point for why the heck did Bush send us to Iraq without a good exit plan.

This is not Iraq (although I catch your drift).......we are in more danger with the illegal immigrant deluge.

The big difference is that we'll LISTEN. This is true of all 'guilty', western-style liberal democracies. When we're criticized, we take it to heart----we feel 'bad'----and many times, we take the blame...

Do you recall hearing much criticism of China--or Russia--or Pakistan---or Mexico? Ever wonder WHY? (HINT-It's not because these places are 'better' than us--it's because, when you criticize these places, you are WASTING YOUR BREATH---the fact is, that they just don't CARE what you, or anyone else, thinks of them)

We DO care, and we'll listen. That's why we're so often criticized, for any number of reasons, both good and 'silly'....

By the way, I've traveled extensively from one end of Chile to the other. It's a beautiful place, with interesting people. But it has no more business criticizing our relations with Mexico than does any OTHER country. But they DID criticize us--- and we 'listened'---and now we're busy discussing it. Apparently, the criticism worked...
