Probably part of the deal that El Presidente Fox worked out with Jorge Bush.

We are discussing Mexico; not the USA.

Despite our 'leadership' being questionable at best; things here are many times better than SOB.

'nuff said!

Better wake up American, the Mexico government now is telling us what to do.

We need to take a stand on these people, the only reason for any Mexican offical to come here is to PICK UP THE PEOPLE they sent here and TAKE THEM BACK HOME !

These people are not lawmakers, they are law breakers laughing at us for taking in all their leftover scum.

I just about never agree with user2, but in this case have to agree. We want change, but what are we doing about it? Like his analogy of Clinton and Obama and which one to vote for. Why vote for either? And in my case, why vote McCain or Giuliani? Why isn't Duncan Hunter running higher in the polls. I bet he could if enough people ran off from McCain, Giuliani, and Romney and Huckabee. I almost punched holes in the wall when a few days ago I saw that McCain was ahead in the polls!! What is wrong with that picture!? And yes, many of these people are made of the same cloth, repub or Dem. We need more people to tell Mexico "Here's a quarter, call someone who cares!" when they bring delegations up here to try and make us do what they want. Get rid of the cartel and gangs powers so that officials aren't having to live in fear of changing laws that affect these awful groups, which in turn affect the lives of their citizens, who end up caught in the middle.

I agree, and for the most part Mexico has dictated to us what our immigration policy would be for over a generation now.

We educate their poorest of poor. We give them our entry level jobs that our own very poor need. We treat their medical needs free of charge in our ERs. And they repay us by having the nerve to disrespect us and call us racist when all we want is to have our neighbors respect our borders.

I think you've made a strange leap by assuming I've said something only you appear to comprehend, or something.

Try to read what I said, and don't interject whatever else comes into your mind.
Here's what you wrote: I have no problem laying the blame for people's suffering on the backs of those responsible. The politicians and the power brokers who rule...
I dunno, but this rhetoric sounds awfully tinted with bourgeois/proletariat tones.

I have sympathy for those who cannot control their lot in life,

......just as I stated it.
None of us - NONE - have complete control of our lives. This is the fallacy of your view, and your sympathy becomes misplaced. Neither are we created equal. However, there are those of us who accept what we've been "given," and work within the rules to better our lives. Then there are those who think the rules don't apply to them. They make false claims to justify their lawlessness. I have no sympathy for them.

That statement doesn't have anything to do with socialism or communism.
I said your rhetoric would "invigorate" socialists and communists. Your intent is irrelevant...unless you're just a closet communist.

Not surprisingly, socialist organizations can be seen supporting and marching with illegals.

Although Europe has many self described 'Socialist' governments, in practice it tightly controls its borders---------to non EU nations.

Translation: it is easy for a Pole to travel/work in France yet said Pole would have a hell of a time going to Ukraine. France and Poland are EU with the Schengen open borders whereas Ukraine is not.

i have to agree. Some of this stuff sounds like a lecture one might have heard in Re-education Camp.

Anybody that is not a citizen of this country is not "qualified" to speak of our laws. Simply put, it is none of their business.
