I have been doing everything I can to stop employers from hiring illegals when I am aware of it, I reported the HOA I lived in for doing it, and have called ICE about various other employers who it seemed may have been hiring them, but being against it does not mean that I think kicking 11 million people out of the country at once. That would be devastating crops would rot, and restaurants would close, and there aren't enough people in the US to fill the vacant jobs, so it makes no sense to even talk about doing it.

Should we do something? Of course! But maybe a new worker visa program would be the way to start. Employers hate the current immigrant farm visas, and few of them are willing to use the program. Make e-verify absolutely required for all jobs, but only for new employees, the main reason dems have objected to e-verify is because conservatives want it used against employees who already have jobs.

Forget the fence, that's just a bone that conservatives throw to their constituents so that they can avoid doing anything about the problem that will actually have some impact, and right now 14% of the illegal population consists of Asians and no fence would have kept them out, and they are taking good jobs but no one even mentions them, it seems that "illegal" is a term we reserve for use against hispanic people

Not true at all.

First of all, many of us would actually do those jobs, but they are not advertized.

When was the last time you saw an ad for a farm job?

I have seen NONE.

Most Americans simply do not know these jobs exist.

Also,I took notice that when one hispanic gets hired in an upper level position, everyone else gets fired and soon enough all the employees are hispanic.

the thing is If they had work permits and had a Visa their wages would be competitive with legal workers.

They are advertised Farm Worker Jobs - Search Farm Worker Job Listings | Monster And there are others, in rural areas you can usually find farm labor jobs on craigslist.

That agency should be reported you if you feel there is something wrong. You as a citizen may have to step forward an report. Or go to your local news to see if they will investigate your claim.
The link I posted was local news. Since the FBI and ICE were already involved; do you really think private citizens have any chance? Possibly the company is totally above board today; it was nine years ago that ICE raided the factory. Many businesses will simply not open their doors for anybody to walk in and inspect. I do not even know anybody that has ever worked there.

American business will do anything to save money or increase profits. I grew up through the years where they waged war against the unions and basically won - most employees are too afraid today to push for more pay. Our businesses will close their doors or outsource if pushed too hard. Then, even when they won over the unions; they still outsourced and simply moved offshore. There is no loyalty to American workers.

Well strong enforcement of current laws is required with a slim down deportation process . Of course billed to the country of origin.

You are so right about your last statement especially where illegal alien workers are involved. They hire an American Hispanic who is bi-lingual and therefore they can communicate with the low level Spanish speaking only workers. That is particularly true of construction, landscaping, hotel and restaurant jobs. An English speaker hasn't a chance at a job where that scenario plays out.

Depends in whether our "Hispanic" even speaks Spanish or not: many English only speaking ones WON'T put up with any kind of illegal alien and DON'T favor Latinos of any race over at least anglo white people.

Every child with parents that don't obey laws face a nightmare. Many children are in foster care or have been adopted to new families, children of US citizens, because their parents broke laws. There is nothing wrong with enforcing laws. Illegal aliens and their children should deserve no more consideration, and actually less, than our own citizens.
